Ian, at last some rigour. Some of the results are surprising, and may still require some interpretation by the reader. For example functionality, use of multi media. I presume this to mean video,DVD’s etc, in which case the reults not so surprising.

Factors influencing the use of technology is most useful for those contemplating establishing networks and communities.

Hi James, Thanks for you comments on the figures.

We did have trouble getting them to show up in the WordPress site, being our first effort. However you might be able to make better sense of them by downloading the word version ( ie the first print version) and looking at them in that document?

That way you would be able to make them bigger yourself to see the fine detail.

Hi all

It would be terrific to get some feedback on this article. I have tried to make two major points.

1. That surveys of the use of technology is improved if we deconstruct what we mean.
2. That the frequency with which teacher’s use technology is associated with the newness of the technology, complexity, compatability and locus of control.

What are your thoughts?
