Garden Design has now shifted from a periphery association to Horticulture to be a main driver of the industry. We need to explore as many modalities as possible to help educate as many people as possible in the rewards and challenges of working with plants in a this time of changing 'goal posts' in regard to climate and energy.
Well done Jim, this is another piece of the puzzle that is sorley required.

Hi Jim
I've just found your article and have had a quick scan. I'll be back to read again in depth - I'm only just starting to look at how we can use podcasts as part of continuing education courses for occupational therapists. Hav eyou any experience of doing this Jim?

Podcasting is a fast moving information and communication technology - every week seems to bring some new adaption and approach. Even faster moving appears to be what educator's manage to bend podcasting applications to, so I believe it's a great time to be an educator - but also very bewildering because of the changing technology and its rate of adoption. The fundamentals of learning and knowledge creation are still much the same though. Almost weekly I find someone doing some new innovative 'thing' with podcasting, as just as frequently I find myself changing my approaches to my production of podcasting items as well. My views on the use of the recording devices and production approaches have changed considerably over the past six months for example.
So, if you have any questions or comments about podcasting and podvocation, and you feel so inclined, please leave a comment or a question. Remember a week can be a long time in many fields, but no more so than podcasting.
